Basic Homid Description:
Freya is a tall bespectacled woman with long blonde hair that she typically keeps bound in a braided ponytail. Her body is well-maintained, although she has yet to develop her physical potential beyond average human boundaries. She has a good amount of curves, although she prefers to only give suggestions of her shape rather than showing off. Her skin is as pale as ice, and her eyes are cold like winter clouds. In short, Freya is the epitome of the stereotypical "ice queen."

Basic Crinos Description:
Freya's fur matches the color of her hair, golden and shining. Her muzzle is colored with nearly-white fur. She stands at eight feet in this form, and usually loses her calm, uncaring demeanor in favor of a snarling sneer. Her voice in Crinos remains clear and cool, despite her mannerism changes.

Basic Lupus Description:
In lupus, Freya's fur darkens to a light tan and her eyes mismatch as brown and blue. Her shape is the same as a light-furred gray wolf.

Everyday Outfit:
Typically Freya prefers to wear clothing that covers her skin as much as possible. Her favorite outfit (and the one which is bonded to her shifting) is a black turtleneck sweater, a pair of hip-hugging jeans, a set of black "slouchy" high-heeled boots, and a slate-gray trench coat with purple lining. Freya is never without her hammer of Thor amulet tied as a medallion around her neck.

Typically warpaint is the only addition she makes when preparing for battle.

    • Born and bred with the old customs in his heart. He expected nothing but perfection from his children, and drilled them every day to ensure they performed their best at every challenge.

    • Maria is much more nurturing than Olaf, and was typically more likely to express love to the Frey children.
  • Gunther Frey

    • Gunther has always had a strong rivalry with his older sister, and is somewhat jealous that she achieved the change while he didn't. That said, he won't stand anyone mocking her name in his presence, even willing to go toe-to-toe with a full member of the tribe in order to defend honor.

Common Knowledge

  • Katrinka has a very strong reputation as a ball-buster.
  • The three words that most of her former sept-mates would describe her with are "stubborn," "bitchy," and "uncompromising."
  • Her tenacious streak, coupled with her keen eye, have helped earn her renown in both the world of the changing folk and in the world of law. Katrinka makes her living as an investigator, sometimes using her wolfish traits to get a "sixth sense" about a crime scene.
  • Like most of her tribe, Katrinka tests people on a regular basis. The nature of these tests vary from physical to emotional to psychological and beyond.
  • As a Get philodox, she typically tests people several times, particularly if she thinks she can help "balance them out."
  • Officially she was sent to Florida from Pennsylvania in order to investigate Kinfolk stories of abnormal and particularly vicious Leech attacks in the everglades.


  • Supposedly the real reason why they sent her to Florida is for having a tryst with the pack leader of Wotan's Fist, Carl "Magni's Might" Brown. While nothing has been confirmed, the story goes that rather than facing dishonor the sept decided to pack her out to the boondocks.
  • According to some it doesn't matter who she beds with, as she's actually a hermaphroditic metis with genitalia constantly stuck in Crinos form. Most don't pay attention to this particular bit of gossip given that Katrinka does not appear to be hiding a howitzer down her pants.
  • Some say the last known wolf in her line was corrupted and became a Dancer.
  • She may or may not have paid for college by working as a street performer, carny, or perfume sales girl. While no one is sure exactly what the job was, they all agree it was in some way strange and embarrassing.

Daily Routine

  • She tends to check on her human affairs via e-mail first, followed by a check of the local supernatural business before she begins the day.
  • If possible she tries to link her supernatural investigations to her natural investigations. She finds it easier to keep the veil intact this way.
  • She always has a bag of coffee beans on her. On some days they're covered in chocolate, on others they're uncandied. Either way she pops them into her mouth on a regular basis.
  • Every day of the week (with the exception of Tuesday) she makes a dedication to the appropriate spirits of her forefathers. She burns incense on Friday for Frigga, hunts an animal on Wednesday for Odin, challenges herself on Thursday for Thor, etc. While the offerings change, the dedication is always there. (She doesn't do anything for Tyr as he is the one who bound the Fenris wolf in the first place).

• How old are you?: 24
• What was your family life like?: Unyielding. Her father was obsessed with hard work and top performance. While he would arrange rewards for proper performance, they felt few and far between to the children of the family.
• When did you have your First Change?: Katrinka changed on the eve of her 14th birthday and massacred the family dog. The family found her amidst a pile of bones, gristle, and blood the next day.
• When did you meet your packmates? Freya's father introduced Katrinka and Gunther to the mysteries of the garou earlier than anticipated. After surviving the rites of passage, Katrinka was introduced to her pack-mates shortly thereafter.
• Where do you live now?:
• Do you continue to live a normal life?: To a certain degree, although the supernatural life takes precedence. Her social life outside of other wolves and kinfolk is nearly nonexistent.
• What motivates you?: The drive for perfection, the need to prove herself worthy in the eyes of her tribe.
